See What Santa Brought Us....

We had a great Christmas. Jason's kids were with their mother for the first part of the morning. So Jason, Gabby and I stayed at my house. We woke up and did the Santa stuff here, then Sadie called to get the rest of her Santa/Dad & Neina stuff. So we got bundled up and drove the rest of Sadie's gift to her. She was pretty excited. She turns 16 on the 11Th of January so this was a combined Christmas/birthday gift. All four of the kids pretty much got what was on the list. Gabby got her first church "dictionary"! Its the my first book of Mormon stories. I think she and I both can benefit from that! Jason got a very nice new coat. He needed one so badly. He has a "chore" coat, but it has more holes than a pot gut prairie! I got a Montana silver and gold watch, and some sheep skin slippers, because Jason says that I live in a meat locker! He is just a sissy! We all gathered at Dixie and Eric's, ate way good food, visited with everyone but the salt lake Averetts due to weather, and laughed. Then the best part about Christmas was that we all were able to speak with Elder Averett. He is doing really well. He still loves the people and the work he has been doing. For the first time in his mission though he did not want to hang up the phone. Which was good to hear but also sad. Anyways, We hope everyone had a great Christmas, and have a safe and fun New years!

Cute post! I love the Santa showing the pictures--very clever. It sounds like you had a great Christmas. I can hardly believe little Sadie is our grown-up Sadie. What a great birtday--the 16th! I remember that one myself! It good to hear how Wyatt is doing. Happy New Year to all!
